Mayor Menino Calls For Wage Freeze For City Workers

In his State of the City address, Mayor Tom Menino outlined Boston's financial outlook. In hopes of avoiding layoffs, the mayor said, he announced one major proposal: a one-year wage freeze for city employees.

WBUR's Bianca Vazquez Toness was at Faneuil Hall for Menino's speech, and joined WBUR's Steve Brown to discuss reaction.
