Mass. Lawmakers Wade Through Stimulus Guidelines

Legislative hearings get underway Thursday on how Massachusetts will spend its estimated $12 billion in total federal stimulus money. As you might imagine, there are many questions about how the money will be distributed.

WBUR convened a panel of key players to talk about just that. Joining the conversation are:

State Representative David Linsky, House chair of the Joint Committee on Federal Stimulus Oversight; Marc Draisen, executive director of the Metropolitan Area Planning Council; Greg Bialecki, state Economic Development Secretary; and  Jeff Simon, the so-called "stimulus czar" for Massachusetts.

This program aired on March 19, 2009. The audio for this program is not available.
