Get-Out-The-Vote Effort May Not Matter

Like most people watching the Senate race, political strategist John Sasso predicts an extremely low turnout for the Dec. 8 primary. Unlike others, he is not so sure that get-out-the-vote efforts will have an impact.

Sasso says this could be the best-informed electorate in a while because it's so small, and get-out-the-vote efforts are good at getting people on the fence out to vote for your candidate, but not so good when people have already made up their minds.

In other words, your voters are already going to show up, and the other candidates' voters are, too.
