Mel King, Boston Civil Rights Icon, Endorses Khazei

Mel King says he endorsed the CityYear founder because of his work with youth. King said about Khazei: "He listens to a constituency of the many and not the money of a few."

King's endorsement comes after a flurry of notable endorsements of Khazei, including the Boston Globe, Blue Mass Group, The Worcester Telegram & Gazette and General Wesley Clark. Khazei's richest endorser — New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg — will be in Boston holding a fundraiser for him this Friday.
