Neal Re-Elected In 2nd Mass. House District

U.S. Rep. Richard Neal will be returning to Congress for a 12th term.

The 61-year-old Springfield Democrat defeated Republican Thomas Wesley of Hopedale in Tuesday's voting in the state's 2nd Congressional District, which also includes the western Massachusetts cities of Northampton, Chicopee and a number of central Massachusetts communities.

Wesley, an executive of Waters Corp. and a former Navy helicopter pilot, was making his first run for elective office.
