Man Allegedly Impersonating Air Marshal Arrested

Authorities say man has been arrested after allegedly impersonating a federal air marshal on a Detroit-to-Boston flight.

Logan International Airport spokesman Phil Orlandella says the man was taken into custody on Delta flight 1922 by a federal air marshal, then held by Massachusetts State Police upon landing late Wednesday morning.

Orlandella says the incident was not terror related.

The Suffolk district attorney's office said the case is being handled by federal authorities.

A spokeswoman for the federal Transportation Safety Administration did not immediately return a call for comment.
