Alleged Cop Killer's Brother Charged In Woburn Case

A fourth man is now alleged to have been involved in the robbery last December in Woburn that led to the death of officer Jack Maguire. It's the older brother of parolee Dominic Cinelli, who was shot and killed by Maguire during a botched robbery attempt.

Arthur Cinelli is charged with with conspiracy to commit robbery and accessory before the fact. Middlesex District Attorney Gerry Leone says Cinelli was at home recovering from hip surgery when he texted his little brother Dominic with advice and encouragement about how to carry out the crime.

"Arthur Cinelli's first text is to give his brother a reminder: don't take risks and wear full headgear," Leone said Thursday. "Arthur Cinelli then offers an extra room and to provide keys in aid to his bother Dominic.

"Those text messages are a chilling snapshot of the preparation and planning of this masked armed robbery between the Cinelli brothers," Leone said.

Cinelli was also out on parole and testified at his little brother's parole hearing. Arthur Cinelli is being held in New Hampshire on unrelated federal drug charges.
