Mass. Gov. Patrick's Older Daughter Marries

Massachusetts Gov. Deval Patrick celebrated the marriage of his oldest daughter over the holiday weekend. Patrick and his wife Diane announced Tuesday that the governor officiated at the ceremony Sunday uniting their daughter Sarah and Marco Morgese.

The small private ceremony took place at the Patrick family's vacation home in Richmond, Mass.

Morgese studied economics and commerce at the Universita degli Studi di Roma before serving in the Italian Army. Sarah Baker Patrick is a graduate of New York University with a degree in cinema studies and philosophy.

The family plans to host a celebration for friends and family next summer.

The governor and his wife also have a younger daughter, Katherine.
