President Obama was in New Hampshire on Tuesday pitching his jobs agenda to voters, who at the moment are getting barraged by a new ad from one of the president's possible 2012 rivals: Mitt Romney.

Today WBUR launched a series of examinations, "Romney's Roots In Massachusetts." It will examine our own history with Mitt Romney. How did his time here in business and as governor shape who he is today, and how do we and rest of the country perceive him?

Romney, of course, first landed in our part of the world, as so many presidential candidates do, to attend Harvard University. WBUR's Sacha Pfeiffer has been reporting on Romney's college years and stops by Radio Boston to discuss them.

This program aired on November 22, 2011.
