Brawl At Arraignment Of Randolph Murder Suspects

Five people have been arrested when fighting broke out at the Quincy District Court after four teens pleaded not guilty to murder charges stemming from the shooting death of a 21-year-old man outside of his Randolph home.

Kyle McManus was shot Saturday night. Four suspects were ordered held without bail at their arraignment Monday, including 19-year-old Allison Deshowitz of Stoughton and Brockton residents Devonte Thames, Brian Moulton and Nathan Lugo.

Thames and Moulton are 18, and Lugo is 17.

Five people were arrested Monday for disorderly conduct when relatives of the suspects and the victim punched, shoved and angrily shouted at each other inside and outside the courtroom.

Norfolk District Attorney Michael Morrissey says McManus knew at least one of the suspects. Investigators were considering several motives, including whether drugs might have been involved.
