Weld, who addressed the Massachusetts delegation at the Republican National Convention Tuesday, said he's impressed with Romney's business experience.

"He’s purposeful and methodical," Weld said. "He’s everything you would want in a chief executive."

He also said Romney has a tremendous sense of humor.

"We’ve spent quality time with him and know him to be a hugely enjoyable and, yes, likable person and it's going to be impossible for the country not to get that sense."

Weld also told reporters he'd welcome a post working in a Romney White House, if his fellow former governor is elected.
