Body Of Man Missing From Boston Ferry Found

The Suffolk district attorney's office says the body of a man reported missing from a ferry over the weekend has been found in Boston Harbor.

Spokesman Jake Wark says the name of the 41-year-old Wilmington man is not being released Tuesday because his death does not appear suspicious. An autopsy is planned.

The man's body was recovered at about 1:15 p.m. by Boston and Quincy police using sonar in waters between Spectacle Island and Castle Island.

Police and the Coast Guard had searched over the weekend after the man was reported to have fallen from the third deck of the Provincetown II in the harbor Saturday night.

Michael Glasfeld, owner of Bay State Cruises, has said witnesses said the man was climbing the boat railings and "engaging in horseplay" when he fell.
