Forecast: Cloudy, Cooler Day With Some Showers

After four days of sunshine we have a cloudy and cooler day for today. There were few showers overnight, but these did not bring much in the way of rain.

Energy in the upper levels of the atmosphere will help kick off a few more showers later today and you could even hear thunder. There are breaks in the clouds so there will be some sunshine as well, especially this morning before the showers build.

Any showers we do see will end this evening and leave us with a breezy and cooler night.  Skies will clear and a pair of sunny days follows. The big weather story on Thursday will be the blustery winds. Highs on Thursday will be in the 50s but with the added gusty breeze it will feel much cooler, especially in the shaded areas.

Friday is my pick of the next few days with abundant sunshine, lighter winds and pleasant temperatures. The weekend is a 50-50 split with a few showers — but not a washout — for Saturday followed by sunshine for Sunday.

Wednesday: Changing skies with scattered showers and a thunderstorm possible. Cooler with highs in the upper 50s.

Wednesday night: Evening showers end, then clearing and breezy. Lows of 37 to 42.

Thursday: Mostly sunny and blustery. Highs in the 50s.

Friday: Mostly sunny with lighter winds and highs near 60.

Saturday: A chance of showers but most of the day is dry and cloudy. Highs in the lower 60s.

Sunday: Mostly sunny with a high of 54 to 58.
