Fisher To Detail Massachusetts Governor Campaign

Republican Mark Fisher is planning to release details about his campaign for Massachusetts governor.

The tea party-affiliated candidate has been in a fight with the state Republican Party over access to the primary ballot.

The party maintains Fisher fell short the ballot by failing to win the backing of 15 percent of delegates at the party's state convention. Fisher is contesting that decision in court.

On Wednesday he rejected an offer by the party to certify him as a candidate in exchange for delaying any additional legal proceedings in the lawsuit until after the election.

Fisher says he wants the court to force the party to release tally sheets which he says will show an effort to deny him the needed votes.

Fisher has scheduled a Thursday morning press conference.
