Jared Remy will spend the rest of his life in prison. In a highly unusual move, Remy, the son of Red Sox broadcaster Jerry Remy, headed off a trial by pleading guilty Tuesday to murder in the first degree for killing his fiancee Jennifer Martel in Waltham last summer.
