8 Mass. Gov. Candidates Appear In Video PSA On Prostate Cancer

Eight Massachusetts gubernatorial candidates took time off from the campaign trail to record a video raising awareness of prostate cancer.

"As candidates we don't agree on everything, but we do agree on this," Martha Coakley, the Democratic frontrunner, says in the video called "We All Agree."

The PSA, from the nonprofit AdMeTech Foundation, urges men in the state to get screened for early detection and treatment.

"Did you know that prostate cancer is more common and more lethal than breast cancer in Massachusetts?" asks Charlie Baker, the Republican frontrunner, in the video.

Also appearing in the video are independents Evan Falchuck and Jeff McCormick; Democrats Joe Avellone, Steve Grossman and Juliette Kayyem; and Republican Mark Fisher.

The video was released in advance of a June 19 Prostate Cancer Awareness Day event at the State House.
