Forecast: Temperatures Will Push Toward 90

A front pushed off the coast this morning and brought a few showers.  The showers are over and we are left with a wonderful summer day of warm temperatures and decreasing levels of humidity. While the humidity went up yesterday, it will be going in the other direction today.  It’s still going to be muggy this morning, but by 4 or 5 p.m. you should notice a change in the air.

Temperatures are going to be quite warm this afternoon pushing up toward 90 degrees. Cape Cod will be cooler, but even there it’s a warm day. Highs over the Cape will be 78 to 84 depending on exactly where you are.

High pressure continues to dominate the weather the rest of the week and into the weekend with a fantastic stretch of weather. I expect lower levels of humidity during this period and seasonably warm temperatures. The nights will cool off sufficiently to allow for great sleeping weather as well.

The next chance for showers comes early next week, but this looks to be quick and light.   Have a great day.
