2 Fatal Weekend Shootings In Boston

Boston police are investigating a pair of fatal shootings over the weekend, including one that may have been the result of road rage.

Forty-year-old Luis Ramos was identified as the victim of a Saturday afternoon shooting in Dorchester that police said in a statement "may have been precipitated by a confrontation related to road rage."

Family members told the Boston Herald that Ramos was a father of four and the co-owner of an auto body shop. Police were looking for a dark-colored SUV seen fleeing the scene, near 571 Dudley St.

Then, two people were shot, one fatally, at 23 Lincoln St. in Hyde Park at about 4 a.m. Sunday. One person, a male believed to be in his 20s, was pronounced dead at the scene, while the other victim was taken to Milton Hospital with life-threatening injuries.

No names have been released and no arrests announced in the Hyde Park shooting.
