Forecast: Muggy And Cloudy Today, But Better Weather Comes Friday

With yesterday's rain, Boston has now had another wet month. You'll notice a lot of greening of the landscape as temperatures continue to warm, too. Today will feel mild and even a bit muggy.  Inland areas may see some sunshine, but clouds will dominate along the coast.  This morning's fog will take a while to lift, be cautious if you are traveling early.

On Friday, a front crosses in the morning with a shower or two, but it won't bring any heavy rain. The afternoon is much better, and I would say you could plan on barbecuing for dinner or a late round of golf. It will be warm as well.

Saturday is a summer-like day with a touch of humidity and warm temperatures. A shower or even a thunderstorm can't be ruled out. Look for highs in the lower 80s, cooler on Cape Cod. Sunday, after a front passes, will be cooler but drier. Highs reach the lower 60s but stay in the 50s on Cape Cod.

More showers may occur Monday or Tuesday in our active pattern.
