Baker Administration Says Audit Of DCF Too Harsh

The Baker administration says the state auditor's report examining the practices at the Department of Children and Families is too harsh.

The report says the agency was unaware of serious injuries to children under its care, and in some cases failed to report potential crimes to authorities.

The administration counters several reforms have since been made, and are not reflected in the report.
