David Wright, Accused Of Conspiring With ISIS, Sentenced To 28 Years In Prison

The Everett man who was radicalized over the internet while couch surfing in his mother's basement has been sentenced to 28 years in prison.

David Wright was convicted in October of conspiring with ISIS to kill Americans. In June 2015, Wright was arrested after his uncle Usaamah Rahim attacked a Boston police officer and an FBI agent with a knife and was shot to death. Police had recorded Wright encouraging his uncle to martyrdom just before the attack.
