15-Year-Old Charged With Attempted Murder In Brockton Stabbing

Police in Massachusetts say a 15-year-old boy has been charged with attempted murder for allegedly stabbing another teenager.

Police tell The Enterprise the stabbing happened Sunday in Brockton. Investigators say the 15-year-old followed the 16-year-old boy before he grabbed an object on the street and stabbed the victim.

The victim was taken to the Good Samaritan Medical Center with multiple stab wounds.

Police say the victim identified the suspect as someone he had attended school with in Boston. Police arrested the 15-year-old on Monday and charged him with attempted murder.

An arraignment in Brockton Juvenile Court had been scheduled for Tuesday. The court says it can't release information about the case.

It's not clear whether the boy has an attorney who could comment on his behalf.
