Departing Patriots: Amendola, Butler, Lewis And Solder Move On
Some big names are leaving the New England Patriots this offseason. Here are four key players moving on:
- Danny Amendola: The wide receiver, a 32-year-old free agent, is set to sign with the Miami Dolphins. Quarterback Tom Brady wished him well on Instagram.
- Malcolm Butler: The cornerback and Super Bowl 49 hero — who was mysteriously benched during the team's most recent Super Bowl — is headed to the Tennessee Titans.
- Dion Lewis: The versatile running back, who led the team in rushing yards this past season, is also on his way to Tennessee.
- Nate Solder: The massive offensive tackle, who protects Brady's blind side, is reportedly signing with the New York Giants. Solder was also the team's Walter Payton Man of the Year nominee last year.
