Forecast: Tuesday Still Unsettled, But Warmer

Some much-needed rain fell across the area yesterday, with a few places exceeding an inch. Most of us only received about a quarter inch to three quarters of an inch of rain.

The rain yesterday was helpful, and this afternoon will continue to be helpful as an upper level disturbance brings a few showers and perhaps even an embedded thunderstorm.

The unsettled weather will continue tomorrow before we go into a quieter pattern for a few days, with typical late spring temperatures.

The weekend is still questionable, as another system could bring more clouds and another period of rain. It's too early to say exactly how the system will unfold, but there is the chance for more rain to fall.

Temperatures over the next couple of days will be quite chilly, but we will rebound into the 70s to near 80 at the end of the week.

The rain also washed a lot of the pollen out of the air and for those of you that have been suffering the spring because of the dry weather it should be a bit more comfortable over the next couple of days. We are also nearing the end of the tree pollen season and the grasses and other weeds will be providing their pollen which continues up until frost.
