Forecast: Dry Pattern Arrives With Warm Temperatures
ResumeWhile we have seen plenty of weekends with clouds and a few showers, the amount of rainfall we've seen since early May has not been excessive. As a matter of fact, we're actually below average. That pattern of cloudy weekends is about to change as we enter a newer pattern of dry weather with seasonably warm temperatures.
There's a chance that we don't see any rain for at least a week, as dry air continues to filter in from the north and sends clouds and precipitation to the south. In this type of pattern, temperatures will be seasonably warm but we won't have any big heat nor will we have any big humidity.
Today will bring us a blend of clouds and sunshine with readings in the 70s.
Tomorrow continues the theme and temperatures will get into the lower 80s Readings will remain that warm on Saturday before falling back a couple of degrees on Sunday.
If the forecast is going to change, which I don't think it will, an area of showers that will pass to our south Saturday night would come a little further north. That's the only way that we're going to get any precipitation this weekend and I'd say there's less than a 10 percent chance that's going to happen.
If you're looking for something to do this weekend, how about checking out some local farms and going to pick some strawberries? This type of weather is perfect for picking and for the quality of the berries.
