The Rhode Island House of Representatives is expected to vote Friday on a bill to help fund a new stadium for the Pawtucket Red Sox.

A key Rhode Island finance committee approved the bill Thursday night that pays for part of the team's $83 million stadium.

Friday is the final day of the legislative session, so if the bill passes it will have to move into the Senate, which has already approved its own Paw Sox bill.

The team is considering a move to Worcester if a stadium deal in Rhode Island isn't worked out
