Forecast: A Dry Wednesday, But Humid Weather On Its Way

Last night was another one for comfortable sleeping last night, but not as cool as the previous one. Today features fading sunshine and a slight increase in humidity as well as temperatures. You'll notice some high clouds building into the area.

These clouds are ahead of a warm front which will make its way across the area during the day tomorrow and usher in one day of humidity. As the one front approaches and the clouds thicken, some showers will develop and there could even be a few thunderstorms. The best chance of this will occur from the middle of the morning on Thursday until late afternoon.

I am not expecting widespread heavy amounts of rain, although there could be some heavier downpours.

As the showers end Thursday night, the clouds will clear and that will set us up for a nice day on Friday, with lowering amounts of humidity. While the moisture in the air will be down, the temperature will be up, with readings approaching 90 degrees inland but staying in the 70s to mid-80s at the coastline.

Right now the weekend and into early next week looks hot inland but sea breezes along the coastline may keep temperatures from ever reaching 90 degrees in many immediate coastal towns. Unfortunately, the Boston official temperature is at Logan Airport which is basically stuck out in the middle of the ocean so it won't be an accurate reading of the heat that will occur.
