Forecast: Showers Saturday, No Overall Pattern Change From Humidity

The humidity will continue to be oppressive for the next several days and actually lasting into next week. I'm leading with that this morning because I think although we'll be hot and although we will see some showers, it's really the humidity that everyone's going to be talking about.

Shower activity will be limited today to western areas beyond I-495. I can't 100 percent rule out a shower making it east of that region, but the odds are pretty low. There will be building clouds this afternoon, but temperatures will still make it well into the 80s to near 90 degrees.

There's a better chance for showers during Saturday and that is my least favorable day this weekend. With the abundance of clouds tomorrow, temperatures will stay in the-mid 80s and upper 70s along the immediate coastline. With all the humidity in the air it's certainly not going to feel anything but sticky.

Sunday is a much better day with more in the way of sunshine and temperatures reaching back towards 90 degrees. I don't think they'll be any shower activity on that day, just a few pop-up fair-weather clouds. Dew points may fall a couple of degrees making it feel it less oppressive, but it's not going to be comfortable in terms of the moisture in the air.

If you want to head to the beach this weekend, Sunday would be my pick. Tides are going to be low around noontime this weekend. I don't see any significant change in the pattern into early next week, with several days at or ahove 90 degrees along with the humidity continuing.
