President Trump will have at least one primary challenger in his bid for re-election.

Former Massachusetts Governor Bill Weld has officially launched his own campaign for president.

Weld left the Republican Party to run as the Libertarian candidate for vice president in 2016, but returned to the GOP earlier this year.

He joined WBUR's Morning Edition host Bob Oakes to discuss launching a 2020 run.

This segment aired on April 16, 2019.
