Congressman Seth Moulton officially launched a campaign for president Monday, making him the third Massachusetts politician to enter the increasingly crowded race.

"It's time for a commander in chief who can actually be a moral authority right here at home and across the globe," Moulton said.

He joined WBUR's Morning Edition host Bob Oakes to talk about his priorities, his failed effort to unseat House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, and whether he thinks Democrats should be starting impeachment proceedings against President Trump.

WBUR senior political reporter Anthony Brooks also joined Oakes to analyze Moulton's comments — and his 2020 prospects.

This segment aired on April 22, 2019.
