Police Investigating After Man's Body Found At Franklin Park Golf Course

Boston police are investigating after a body was found Saturday afternoon at a golf course in Franklin Park in Dorchester.

Firefighters discovered a man's body at the city-owned William J. Devine Memorial Golf Course while responding to a report of a brush fire outside the clubhouse at around 5 p.m., police said.

Authorities haven't released further details and haven't said if they believe the death is suspicious.

The Boston Globe reported investigators blocked off the area where the body was discovered through Saturday evening even as golfers continued to play through the course and a graduation party took place in the clubhouse.
