Facebook delivered a shock to some users recently with its new feature: reconnect with a friend. Unveiled over the weekend, the site offered suggestions with names and photos — including some friends who are deceased but whose profiles live on.

Facebook delivered a shock to some users recently with its new feature: reconnect with a friend. Unveiled over the weekend, the site offered suggestions, names, photos, including some friends who happened to be deceased, but whose profiles live on. In other cases, it suggested a former spouse. Or equally puzzling, Facebook urged users to reconnect with a friend they see in real life every night: a current spouse.
