Baby And Me Wii Game Debuts In Australia
If playing with a doll wasn't enough on its own, now there's one that can be hooked up to Nintendo's Wii. The new game Baby and Me is only being released in Australia and comes from software publisher 505 Games. The Wii remote control is inserted into the doll's back, and then the doll cries or giggles. It can then be burped or rocked to sleep.
RENEE MONTAGNE, host:
And here's another item for your child's doll shelf. It's a doll that goes with your Nintendo. A new doll called Baby and Me leans on the same equipment you use for Wii video games. And that's our last word in business today.
Baby and Me comes from a software publisher called 505 Games. Apparently, you can insert a Wii remote control into the doll's back. This is the same remote control that lets you pretend to swing a tennis racket or a golf club. It has a motion censor. And, of course, once you plug it into the doll, your baby has a motion censor.
So depending on what you do or your child does, the baby is liable to start crying. You then have to find some way to stop it by rocking the baby, burping it or even teaching the doll to walk. If this product reminds you of the creepy doll in "The Twilight Zone," don't worry, Baby and Me is only going on sale in Australia - at least for now.
