A Whole And Free Europe
On November 2nd, a week before the anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall, a panel of experts met in Washington, D.C. to discuss the events of 1989 and the state of Europe twenty years after the end of the Cold War.
The panelists, from left to right, are Brent Scowcroft, former National Security Advisor under President George H. W. Bush, Hans Dietrich Genscher, former West German foreign minister, and Robert Kimmitt, former US ambassador to Germany. The event was moderated by BBC correspondent, Katty Kay.
