NPRResearchers Retract Study on Ecstasy Brain Damage

Scientists at Johns Hopkins University retract a paper published last year in the top research journal Science that suggested even one dose of the drug Ecstasy could cause severe brain damage. The results were invalid because they relied in part on a mislabeled shipment of methamphetamine, a powerful stimulant. Hear NPR's Joe Palca.
