NPRWoman Saves Sewing Plant that Saves Town

Leda Hartman reports on Shirley Williiams, who started out as a machine operator in Washington, N.C., but then became the owner of a small sewing factory when it faced a shutdown. Williams' act helped preserve 25 jobs in the tiny town of Vanceboro, where every job is precious.
