Clapton Invited to Play in North Korea
Rock musician Eric Clapton has been invited to perform in North Korea The government disapproves of rock music, but the son of President Kim Jong Il is reportedly a Clapton fan. Clapton has not yet accepted the invitation.

Now that the New York Philharmonic has made it to North Korea, the country is ready to rock. A diplomat confirms North Korea wants Eric Clapton next. The government disapproves of rock music, but the son of the dear leader, Kim Jong Il, is reportedly a Clapton fan. Clapton has not yet accepted the invitation.
