Clapton Invited to Play in North Korea

Good morning. I'm Steve Inskeep.

Now that the New York Philharmonic has made it to North Korea, the country is ready to rock. A diplomat confirms North Korea wants Eric Clapton next. The government disapproves of rock music, but the son of the dear leader, Kim Jong Il, is reportedly a Clapton fan. Clapton has not yet accepted the invitation.
