British ceramicist Edmund de Waal is exhibiting his work at Waddesdon Manor, a 19th century faux-French chateau 50 miles from London. Now run by The National Trust, it was once the country retreat of the British Rothschild family. De Waal is a distant cousin of Lord Jacob Rothschild. (National Trust, Waddesdon Manor)
