Our town, Lansing, has been hit hard by the economic challenges of the past few years. But you can still find generosity.
By day, Bob Hoffman is a public relations manager at the Michigan State University performing arts center. By night (and weekend) he does good things — like leading a bunch of people to commit acts of thoughtfulness.
Bob's mob may pay for someone's parking at the hospital or someone's purchase at a supermarket. They might hand out flowers, just for the joy.
As former Michigan Gov. Jennifer Granholm says on Bob's website, ""Paying It Forward is a priceless gift."
Jeanie Croope is communications manager for WKAR, Public Media from Michigan State University.
