Those who want to know more about the government's plan to prevent a wave of foreclosures can dial 1-888-995-HOPE. When President Bush announced the plan Thursday, he didn't get the number quite right. It's not clear how many people called "Freedom Christian Academy" looking for mortgage advice.

Our last word in business is 1-888-995-HOPE; that's the number homeowners can call if they're worried about foreclosure. It's part of the government's plan to prevent a wave of foreclosures after the boom in subprime mortgage lending. The problem is, when President Bush announced the plan yesterday, he said 1-800 instead of 1-888. It's not clear how many people called the Freedom Christian Academy looking for mortgage advice.
