NPRA Touch of Tchaikovsky from Joshua Bell

  • October 19, 2005, 12:00 AM

Joshua Bell is one of the busiest violinists performing today. He's been doing work on film soundtracks in addition to a full concert schedule, and he's trying his hand at conducting as well. On a visit to the NPR studios, he brought along music by Tchaikovsky -- the "Melodie" -- as well as Sarasate's "Introduction and Tarantella." Matthew Bengtson is the pianist.
