Violinist Roman Totenberg at 95


Friends, fans and an extended family that includes former students — and his daughter, NPR's Nina Totenberg — gather Tuesday night in Boston to celebrate violinist and teacher Roman Totenberg's 95th birthday. His career has taken him from Warsaw to Moscow to Berlin to Paris — and finally to Boston, where he's been a teacher for more than 40 years.
