Bragg (200)

The original folk-punk rocker, Billy Bragg has been a strong political voice in music since the early '80s. Backed by a single electric guitar, Bragg took the stage at The Current's showcase on the corner of 7th and Red River in Austin, Texas, for the South by Southwest festival. Inviting the audience to participate in what he called a "Mao-ist sing-along," Bragg performed his classic "Waiting for the Great Leap Forwards" to an appreciative crowd.
