The Weekly Warm Up Podcast

At the suggestion of numbers of listeners and the people here who are technically sophisticated enough to understand the juxtaposition of the terms "pod" and "cast," portions of Only A Game are now being podcast. Sometimes these podcasts will offer listeners an early opportunity to hear something that will be on the following Saturday's show...a risky proposition, it seems to me, but those securely anchored in the technology of the present assure me that this is a good thing. Who knows? Maybe they're right. In an earlier era, a lot of the owners of baseball teams resisted the idea that games should be on the radio, since they feared people who could hear the games that way would no longer bother to go to the park and buy tickets.
