Apparently the saga of the people v. Roger Clemens, who was charged with perjury after his testimony before Congress in 2008, will continue.

In July, a mistrial was declared when U.S. District Court Judge Reggie Walton ruled that the prosecution had violated evidentiary guidelines the judge had established.

Yesterday afternoon, Judge Walton scolded the prosecution but granted them a new trial, which is scheduled for April 17th. Defense attorneys had asked the judge to dismiss the six count indictment against Clemens.

This segment aired on September 3, 2011.
