Joplin High School Celebrates The Return Of Football
ResumeWhen a tornado ripped through Joplin, Mo. on May 22nd, taking 160 lives and injuring more than 900 others, few structures were left untouched. Joplin High School was reduced to a mess of twisted metal and brick. However, just a few blocks north at Junge Stadium, home of the Joplin Eagles football team, the storm brought little damage.
As the team prepares for their first home game on Saturday, Only A Game's Greg Echlin speaks with Joplin residents who feel that the football season will bring a sense of normalcy back to the community.
