The NCAA is facing growing scrutiny from college athletes, coaches, and the people who follow college sports. The current issue of the Atlantic Monthly features an article by Pulitzer-prize winning historian Taylor Branch — author of Parting the Waters, The Clinton Tapes, and others — entitled "The Shame of College Sports," which criticizes the corruption within the NCAA.  Taylor Branch joins Bill Littlefield on Only A Game this week to discuss his article, the current status of the NCAA, and whether we should expect reform in the organization in the near future.

This segment aired on September 17, 2011.
