The much-anticipated "Ginger" invention was revealed today by award-winning inventor Dean Kamen. While it did not turn out to be "bigger than the internet" as some had speculated, some have gone as far as to say that the battery-powered, gyro-based scooters could change the way that future cities are planned. Part of the current crisis for the United States is related to our reliance on Middle Eastern oil. Technology has always been one avenue out of a dilemma.
