GOP: Goin' Back to Cali

After seventy-seven days of three ring campaigning that was heavy on controversy and light on issues, the people of California have made their choice. A disastrous economy, anger at the incumbent, and a big-time Hollywood personality appear to have been key in the voting booth. Now, the real challenge for Arnold Schwarzenegger will be turning California around.

But no matter what happens in the Golden State, the recall is a big statement. And today, everyone, from the citizens of California, to the pundits in Washington, to the White House and Democratic Presidential challengers, is thinking through what it means.
