The Southern Vote

Howard Dean apologized yesterday for his statement that he is the candidate for guys with confederate flags. But he's still running after the Southern vote, maybe harder now than ever.

In key elections in the South Tuesday, Republican governors trounced Democratic incumbents in Kentucky and Mississippi. Last year Democratic governors lost in Alabama, Georgia and South Carolina.
